Green juice is super easy for your body to digest, and CBD can help reduce inflammation, cramping and soreness – which can be life-changing, esp after an intense workout sesh.
I have been obsessed with green smoothies since 2006 when I first got the Jack Lalanne Juicer. Since then, I’ve experimented with hundreds of different recipes, and drank my fair share of bland smoothies. . . Which means that over the years I’ve discovered a few hacks to create recipes that are delish, and full of flavor!
The ingredients in this juice are designed to give you strength and power (kale and celery), hydrate the body (cucumber), support digestion (apple and pineapple) and boost immunity (orange and lemon). It’s the perfect all around go to green juice recipe!
To infuse this smoothie with CBD, the 1500mg Full Spectrum Lemon CBD Tincture by TribeTokes is a great addition and provides a delightful lemon flavor that compliments the other ingredients. TribeTokes CBD Oil Drops are also incredibly potent, containing 50 milligrams of CBD per milliliter. Whether you prefer a high dose or low dose of CBD, simply add your preferred amount into the blender, then blend away! By blending, the machine does the work for you, breaking apart the CBD oil droplets so they mix into the other liquids and ingredients seamlessly, creating a perfectly infused smoothie. You can also omit the CBD, and still enjoy a delicious and amazing non-infused anti-inflammatory smoothie that’s great for post-workout recovery.

- 1 Cup of Kale
- 1 Cup of Spinach (for extra greens!)
- 1 Banana
- 1 Celery Stalk, cut up
- 1 Green or Red Apple, cored
- 1/2 Cup of Frozen Pineapple (or fruit of your choice! You can change up this recipe with frozen mango, blueberries or raspberries.)
- 50ml (or your preferred dose) of TribeTokes Lemon Flavored 1500mg CBD Tincture
- 1 -1 1/2 Cup(s) of Orange Juice (you can also use water or a liquid of choice but I find juices to taste better)
Chop and peel the veg and add all the ingredients to a blender one at a time. Begin with the cucumber and use the apple after the green leafy vegetables to make sure no greens are left in the juicer. Blend until thick and creamy, then pour into a drinking glass of your choice to serve. I recommend drinking the smoothie immediately as the nutrition levels dip after just a few minutes. Be sure to use a compostable straw!
Note – My prize possession is my high powered blender, Vitamix. It’s about 10 years old, and incredibly durable. Using a high powered blender makes 1000% difference in the consistency, so I highly recommend investing in one. At Vitamix, the service and warranty are 5 stars.
